NaNoWriMo.org

National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 50,000-word (175-page) novel by midnight, November 30.

Protagonize.com

is a creative writing community dedicated to writing various forms of collaborative, interactive fiction. One author writes a story, and others post branches or chapters to it in different directions. The result is an organic, evolving story where everyone can participate.

The Grind Cafe Writers' Group
