Sue Nelson Buckley grew up in Saint John, New Brunswick before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia in 2002.

When asked why she writes she'll laugh and say she can't not write. She's been telling stories for as long as she could talk and writing them down soon after she learned her alphabet.

Her first books published were two versions of the same story, The Problem With Jake and The Trouble with Jake. The original story, 'The Problem with Jake', was a paranormal, adult romance which was eventually re-written as 'The Trouble with Jake' a young adult romance. They are available separately or in a dual version volume.

Sue's next release, Hiding in Plain Sight , was a fun novel set in her hometown of Saint John, NB featuring scenes that take place in her old high school, Saint John High. In this book we adventure along side Hilary as she tries to figure out what's different about the family who moves in next door. It's not enough that they're from another planet, bad guys are on the way to take them back. Hilary, her friends and some unlikely helpers join forces to make sure that doesn't happen.

'Kiere' is coming in 2012. In this futuristic, distopian world where most of humanity is dead Sue takes us on a 'Mad Max' meets 'Little House on the Prairie' adventure. Kiere, Raoulf, Harot and Junic are requested to reject their roles in New Hope's future to help guard its present.
